Graphical user interface and support of communication protocol for 16-bit digital power control device TC1600
01.09.2004.
Description
The program controls sixteen heaters (which are mounted on the experimental metal board) using the 16-bit digital power control device TC1600. With infra-red camera the images of the experimental metal board are taken. Regions of the equal temperatures (which are defined by the isotherms) are set in the program. On the basis of the defined reagions it is possible to calculate new output power of the heaters, in such way that the differences between set and measured temperatures are minimal.
The program supports three modes:
- Control mode
In this mode the heaters are graphicaly represented in such way that is easy to control every of sixteen heaters. - Defining regions of the equal temperatures
The regions of the equal temperatures are defined with following curves: rectangle, ellipse, Bezier curves. The curves can be translated, scaled and rotated. - Data acquisition
In this mode IR images are acquired, processed and compared with user-defined temperature regions, and the statistical date are calculated. On the basis of the statistical date it is possible to calculate new output power of the heaters, in such way that the differences between set and measured temperatures are minimal.
